If you signed up for Atelos, you did it on the strength of a teaser page and a promise. So here's the first real update — not a marketing email, just me telling you where things actually stand.
What Atelos is, in plain terms: a desktop dashboard for running your entire working life from one place — your clients, your habits, your training, your money, your day — without renting that space from a software company. It runs on your machine. Your data lives in files on your own drive. No cloud, no login, no subscription, nothing to cancel. You build it once and it's yours for good.
The honest version
I thought you'd have it by now. You don't, and I'd rather tell you why than go quiet and hope you don't notice.
I'm building it right, not fast. Every part of Atelos is something I use every single day to run my own businesses — which means I can't ship a half-finished version of it. If the habit tracker breaks, my habits break. If the client numbers are wrong, I lose track of real money. There's no QA team here catching my mistakes. It's me, the code, and the consequences.
So I'm taking the extra weeks to make it solid instead of handing you something that falls apart the first time you lean on it. That's the whole trade — and I think it's the right one.
How the first BETA goes out
This part doesn't change, so I'll say it plainly.
The first public BETA goes to the first 333 people on the waitlist. In order. Not a random draw, not a hand-picked group, not a funnel built to upsell you later. The first 333 names, top to bottom.
The moment we hit 333 signups, those people get the link and the build. Everyone after that waits for the public launch. No queue-jumping, no paying to skip the line.
First 333. In order.
Then the doors close until launch.
What's already real
This isn't a concept deck. Here's what already works in the version I run every single day:
- Habits hub — a James Clear–style accountability system, split into what you're breaking and what you're building, with milestones from Bronze to Diamond.
- Atelos Log — a permanent, append-only record of every commitment I make. You can't edit it. You can't delete it. The journey doesn't get to lie to you later.
- Endurance — race countdowns, a training log, my ITRA profile, and ten events already seeded in.
- Notification aggregator — one live view of what actually needs me: domains, milestones, overdue tasks. Always current, nothing stale or stored.
- Finance — every dollar in and out, tracked per client, so I always know what's really coming in instead of guessing.
What's left before I open the doors
Three things have to land before the first BETA ships:
- Journal tab — rich-text writing that auto-saves to plain markdown on your own drive, with streak tracking and export. Your words, in a format that outlives any app.
- Prospects / CRM — a simple pipeline for the people I'm talking to: who's a lead, who's gone quiet, who I owe a follow-up.
- Home morning digest — the first screen I want every morning: today's plan, the habits due, and the few things that genuinely need me.
I left Canada in 2014 with a bicycle and no plan. Built a school in Japan, lost everything in the Philippines, and I've been rebuilding ever since. Atelos is the tool I wish I'd had the entire time — so I'm not going to shove it out the door early just to hit a date I made up.
Get on the list. Hold me to it. I'll see the first 333 of you on the inside.
